- Does not address crawlspace drainage

Pros:
- Inexpensive relative to other options
- Effective for mild water infiltration concerns
Cons:
- Vapor barrier not permanent
- Ineffective for extensive moisture
- Does not address humidity level
- Vulnerable to pests
Full Encapsulation
Pros:
- Addresses drainage, moisture, and humidity concerns
- Is a permanent fix
- Improvement of air quality
- No termite bond concerns
Cons:
- Expensive and labor intensive
